AB Metro Patio Walls Installation - Where to Start

Using the Magic Pattern, it is as simple as 1 2 3!

Straight Walls

Utilizing the modular block sets with the Magic 1-2-3 Pattern makes this a dream product to work with. This pattern will maximize the use of all the block shapes, eliminate seams and allows you to turn corners with nothing new to learn. The length of one set of blocks is 4 ft. (1.2 m) with increments of 8 in. (200 mm), 16 in. (400 mm), and 24 in. (600 mm).

Start each wall by placing a 3 core block on the bottom left as shown below. This helps develop a level benchmark for your project.

Always build your first course completely - including columns and corners before starting additional courses.

Corners

By using the Magic 1-2-3 Pattern, easily transition to a corner at any point where a 2 and 3 core block meet. Do not use a 1 core block as the corner block. At the corner, rotate the 3 or 2 core block at 90 degrees and continue on with the pattern - nothing new to learn. You can create the corner with 2 options; see the different positioning with Option 1 and 2 below. This adjusts the length of the wall by 8 in. (200 mm). It is that simple!
